Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in Sunley Hotel with the exception of assistance dogs.

We serve breakfast between 06.30 – 09.30 Monday to Friday and between 07.00 – 10.00 Saturday and Sunday. There is an additional charge of £7.95 per person for the continental breakfast buffet.

Sunley Hotel does not offer evening meals, however we would like to recommend the Waterside Bar & Restaurant which is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. To find out more visit www.watersidebarandrestaurant.com

Our Room Service menu is available between 15.00 – 21.00 Monday – Sunday. Simply dial 200 from your in-room telephone to place an order. Please note we do not offer breakfast as part of the room service menu. See our food service section on this website for the room service menu.

All Sunley Hotel residents and events guests receive complimentary free Wi-Fi internet access.

We do offer printing facilities please speak to the team at reception who will happy to help you.

There is free secure parking for overnight guests in car park 3 on the Waterside Campus. Parking spaces need to be pre-booked before guest’s arrival due to the security access barriers. Hotel guests can reserve a car parking space during the online booking process or through the hotel reception on 01604 892020. Make sure you have your vehicle registration to hand. Vehicles are parked at guests own risk.

There are Blue Badge parking spaces on the Waterside Campus. Please contact the hotel reception and they will book you a space and advise you of its location and proximity to Sunley Hotel. Make sure you have your vehicle registration to hand.

Guests can check in from 14.00. Should you arrive early and your room is ready we would be happy for you to check in earlier.

Guests can check out any time until 10.00 on date of departure. (Saturday & Sunday check out time is 11.00.) Late departure can be requested, but is subject to an additional fee of £10 per hour past the stipulated check out time. Any late check out request is subject to the availability of rooms.

There is a luggage store and cloakroom in the reception area. Please note all items are left at the owner’s risk.

The amount that we pre-authorise will depend on the amount of nights that you stay. If you are
only with us for one evening, then we will hold the MINIMUM pre-auth amount, which is £100.

Smoking is prohibited in Sunley Hotel. Please ask at reception for the designated smoking area  outside of the hotel.

Please note: There is a MINIMUM charge of £250 for smoking in our rooms.

Accidents happen, we know!

However, we reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, loss of revenue and/or replacement, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act to the hotel’s property or structure.

Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit card / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.

We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contacting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore we make every effort to keep any costs incurred to a minimum. These charges will come at the MINIMUM charge indicated below:

A pre-authorisation is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit or debit card that is provided upon booking. The pre-authorisation is not a charge and no funds have been debited from your account.

When you give us a credit/debit card, the pre-authorisation guarantees us that the funds are available to pay for any charges incurred.

This varies dependent on your individual credit/debit card. Upon your check out your room charge and any extras will be charged to your card, this will appear on your credit card statement within 3 working days. However if you choose to pay the balance with another credit card or choose cash, we will cancel the pre-authorisation and this can take up to 15 days to clear in your account.

Sunley Hotel is NOT charging your credit card. A pre-authorisation is a security guarantee for payment only. The pre-authorisation fund is not held by the hotel, the company who provide the credit card system or by the authorising bank. The pre-authorisation fund is held on your card by your own issuing bank. A pre-authorisation can be held on your card for a minimum of 10 to 15 working days. Pre-authorisation should be released by your issuing bank automatically, if not you will need to contact your home issuing bank.
